FR PVC

APAR’s Single core Flexible Wires and Cables are used in low voltage signals, electrical motors, electrical appliances, control panels, DC power transformers, electrical boards, and battery cables. The conductors used in wires and cables are made from finely drawn annealed bare copper strands using electrolytic grade that conserves energy and gives better flexibility. Manufactured using Twin Screw technology, the wires and cables are insulated with Flame Retardant (FR) PVC compound specially formulated in-house.

These Cable have a high degree of thermal stability, Oxygen & temperature index. The insulation has high dielectric strength offering high insulation resistance. It offers a high critical oxygen index (>29%) and high-temperature index (>250°C), which helps to restrict the spread of fire and improves self-extinguishing properties.

Features & Advantages

FLAME RETARDENT

High Oxygen and Temperature Index make it fire retardant and self-extinguishing. It doesn't catch fire on its own

ENERGY SAVING

Energy-efficient cable, powering sustainability with every connect

LONGER LIFE

Uncompromised durability, delivering extended lifespan for reliable performance over the long haul.

BETTER FLEXIBILITY

Unleashing versatility, providing superior manoeuvrability for seamless installations in tight spaces.

FAQs

Wires and cables are essential components used for electrical and data transmission purposes. They facilitate the flow of electricity or signals between devices, appliances, and systems.
There are various types of wires and cables, including electrical wires, coaxial cables, twisted pair cables, fiber optic cables, ribbon cables, and more. Each type serves specific purposes based on their characteristics and applications.
Selecting the appropriate wire or cable involves considering factors such as the intended use, voltage requirements, current capacity, environmental conditions, and the distance of transmission. It's crucial to consult with experts or refer to technical specifications to make an informed decision.
Solid wires consist of a single, solid conductor, making them suitable for permanent installations. Stranded wires, on the other hand, are composed of multiple thin strands of wire, providing flexibility and making them ideal for applications requiring frequent bending or movement.
For data transmission, it is essential to use cables designed specifically for this purpose, such as twisted pair cables or fiber optic cables. These cables minimize data interference and offer higher bandwidth, ensuring reliable data transfer.
