Description
OverviewTarang Shakti CATV is a four pair twisted copper networking cable for wired data, rated from -20°C to +50°C. Solid copper conductors and a shielded construction keep crosstalk and outside interference low enough for steady throughput on office and home runs.
It suits voice and data outlets, building networks and general structured cabling where the higher bandwidth of the Cat 6 Tarang Shakti LAN cable is not needed. A note on the name, since it causes confusion: this product is sold as CATV but it is a twisted pair networking cable, not a 75 ohm coaxial cable television cable. If you are wiring for a set top box or a distribution amplifier, ask our team which cable your installation actually needs.

ComplianceDespite the CATV product name, this is a Category 5 twisted-pair networking cable, and it is built to the Category 5e requirements of ANSI/TIA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801 Class D: four twisted pairs of solid copper conductors with shielding, performance verified to 100 MHz.
Tested for attenuation, near-end crosstalk (NEXT) and impedance, and rated for use from −20°C to +50°C.
IS 694:2010 and the ISI mark do not apply to data cables — that standard covers PVC-insulated power and lighting cables.
