APAR Tarang Shakti Lan Cables
Description
OverviewTarang Shakti LAN cable is a Cat 6 UTP networking cable: four twisted pairs of 24 AWG solid copper, tested to 250 MHz and ready for Gigabit Ethernet. Solid conductors and a consistent twist rate are what hold crosstalk down across a full length permanent link, which is where cheaper cable starts failing certification.
Use it for structured cabling in offices and campuses, home and smart home networks, switch and router links, and data centre patching. It follows ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801, and comes as unarmoured FR PVC or wire armoured LSZH on 305 m boxes. Keep the bend radius to at least four times the cable diameter on a fixed run, and hold the permanent link to 90 m.

Standards & approvals
ComplianceBuilt to the Category 6 requirements of ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801: four twisted pairs, 24 AWG solid copper conductors and performance verified to 250 MHz, supporting Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100 m channel.
Every drum is tested for attenuation, near-end crosstalk (NEXT), return loss and impedance before dispatch. An LSZH-sheathed variant is available where the building's fire strategy calls for low smoke and zero halogen.
IS 694:2010 and the ISI mark do not apply to data cables — that standard covers PVC-insulated power and lighting cables.

DownloadsFAQs
Good to knowWhat category is the APAR LAN cable?+
It is a Cat 6 UTP cable with four twisted copper pairs, rated for bandwidth up to 250 MHz and suitable for Gigabit Ethernet.
What is the difference between the two variants?+
One is an unarmoured FR PVC cable for indoor use; the other is a wire-armoured LSZH cable for extra mechanical protection and low smoke, zero halogen performance.
What is the maximum run length?+
Like standard structured cabling, Ethernet channels are designed for up to 100 m; the cable is supplied in 305 m boxes.
What conductor does it use?+
A Class 1 solid copper conductor with HDPE insulation, an aluminium-foil screen and a PE outer sheath.
