Description
OverviewTarang Shakti CCTV cable carries the video and the camera power in one sheath, so a run out to a camera is one cable rather than two. The video core is a 75 ohm coaxial with a solid copper conductor and foil plus braid shielding; the power cores are tinned flexible copper, colour coded. Available as 3+1, 4+1 and 6+1, armoured or unarmoured.
Shielding is the whole job on a CCTV run. A camera cable often shares a tray or a conduit route with mains wiring, and without proper foil and braid the picture picks up bars and rolling interference. The sheath is flame retardant to IEC 60332-1. The armoured version is the one to use outdoors, along a perimeter wall, or anywhere the cable is exposed to handling.

Standards & approvals
ComplianceBuilt as 75 Ω coaxial cable to the RG-59 construction used for analogue CCTV video, with a solid copper centre conductor and a braided shield for interference rejection. The composite versions carry the video coax and the camera power pair in a single sheath, so one pull serves the whole camera.
Tested for characteristic impedance, shield coverage and attenuation. An armoured variant is available for direct burial and outdoor runs.
IS 694:2010 and the ISI mark do not apply to coaxial video cables — that standard covers PVC-insulated power and lighting cables.
