HR-FR-LSH is a grade marking you will see on premium Indian house wiring. It is a stack of three safety properties: HR = Heat Resistant, FR = Flame Retardant, and LSH = Low Smoke & Halogen. Together they describe a wire engineered to behave as safely as possible when things go wrong.
Heat Resistant (HR) means the insulation tolerates higher operating temperatures without degrading — useful for the heavier loads of modern homes (air-conditioners, geysers, kitchens). Flame Retardant (FR) means the wire resists the spread of flame and tends to self-extinguish rather than feed a fire — see flame-retardant vs fire-resistant. Low Smoke & Halogen (LSH) means that, if it does burn, it gives off far less smoke and little or no toxic, corrosive halogen gas — the property explained under LSZH cable.
