ADSS stands for All-Dielectric Self-Supporting: an aerial fibre cable with no metal in it at all, strong enough to span between poles without a support wire. Because it is fully dielectric it can be strung safely alongside power lines — the usual route for utility fibre. APAR's AerioFib ADSS range runs from 1F to 432F for short, medium and long spans, with an anti-tracking sheath option for high-tension corridors.
