Future-ready wiring plans for the loads of the next decade, not just today. The essentials: a distribution board with spare capacity and MCBs for more circuits; dedicated, correctly-sized circuits for heavy modern loads (AC, geyser, kitchen, and an EV charger); and plenty of well-placed power and data/LAN points.
Run good-quality, fire-safe HR-FR-LSH wire throughout (it is far cheaper to do this during construction than to rewire later), add conduits with pull-strings for future cabling, and ensure solid earthing and surge protection for sensitive smart devices.
Plan the layout with a qualified electrician, and choose durable house wires and cables plus communication cables so the home is ready for automation, fast networking and EVs.
