What is HR-FR-PVC wire, and how is it different from HR-FR-LSH?

Quick answer

HR-FR-PVC is a Heat-Resistant, Flame-Retardant PVC house wire. It adds heat resistance (around 105 °C) and flame retardance to standard PVC insulation — a strong, well-priced safety grade for homes and buildings.

The difference from HR-FR-LSH is the 'LSH' part: HR-FR-LSH also gives off low smoke and low/zero halogen in a fire, while HR-FR-PVC focuses on heat and flame resistance. For maximum fire safety choose HR-FR-LSH; for a robust, economical heat-resistant wire, HR-FR-PVC is excellent.
